The Sugar Cane and Sugar Board (Sugar Board) welcomed a delegation from Thai Rungreung Industry Co., Ltd., led by Deputy Managing Director Mr. Natthapol Attathar, for a study visit to the board’s offices. Officials from the Sugar Board, including Ms. Siyarat Kongthonchotdecha, Director of the Sugar Cane, Sugar, and Related Industries Division, Mr. Thawat Hamman, Director of the Strategy and Planning Division, Mr. Wiroj Wichit, Director of the Sugar Cane and Sugar Administration, and Mr. Ekarin Thongnok, Director of the Sugar Cane and Sugar Fund Office, were present to receive the visitors.
During the visit, the Sugar Board outlined its role and mission, discussed policy directions, and provided insights into the current situation and evolving landscape of Thailand’s sugar cane and sugar industry. The objective was to foster mutual understanding and facilitate an exchange of views on all operational aspects.
This initiative is seen as a valuable platform for promoting knowledge and experience sharing between the public and private sectors. It also aims to strengthen collaborative efforts in advancing the sugar cane and sugar industry towards greater efficiency, adaptability, and sustainable, mutually beneficial outcomes.
