Mae Hong Son Launches “Bike Night 2025” to Promote Road Tourism

Mae Hong Son province has launched the “MaeHongSon Bike Night 2025” event on 15 November 2025 to attract motorcyclists and boost road-based tourism, with more than 250 riders joining a promotional ride along the province’s famously winding 4,088-curve route.

The event, organised by the Mae Hong Son Tourism Business Association, aims to increase overnight stays and highlight the province as a destination for road travel enthusiasts. The programme encourages visitors to explore the region’s scenic mountain routes, which are considered some of the most challenging and picturesque in northern Thailand.

According to the association, the first edition of MaeHongSon Bike Night 2025 has been designed to showcase the province’s “On The Road” tourism identity. The 4,088-curve route, well-known among Thai and international riders, is a major attraction in itself and continues to be promoted as a key driver for the local tourism economy.

Organisers said the initiative seeks to support businesses in the province by generating more visitor activity during the cool season, which is typically one of the most popular periods for motorcyclists travelling through northern Thailand.

The event received support from several tourism and cultural agencies, along with participation from local biker clubs, including the MaeHongSon Memorial Club. Provincial officials, including the governor of Mae Hong Son, attended the opening ceremony at Suan Mokkhum Resort in Mueang district.
