Hua Hin Mayor Reviews New Municipal Office Design

Hua Hin Municipality Deputy Mayor Atichart Chaisri chaired a meeting on Friday, October 9, 2026, to review the proposed design for a new seven-story municipal office building. The meeting included Deputy Permanent Secretary (acting Permanent Secretary) Nungruethai Sukchan, heads of various municipal departments, city planning officials, technical staff, and the building’s designers.

The project to design the seven-story Hua Hin Municipal Office building (Provost’s Office) was initiated through a public bidding process. The design contract, No. 58/2569, dated May 18, 2026, was awarded to Advance Consultant and Design Company Limited.

The contracting company presented the building’s design plan, which allocates space for different administrative functions. The proposed layout includes: the ground floor for a Day Care center and the Medical Affairs Division; the second floor for the Social Welfare Division and the Public Health and Environment Division; the third floor for the Civil Registration and Identification Card office; the fourth floor for meeting rooms, seminar rooms, and recreational activity spaces; the fifth floor for the Hua Hin Museum; the sixth floor for the Mayor’s office, the executive committee’s offices, and a small meeting room; and the seventh floor for the council chamber, council affairs office, and offices for the council president and members. A further presentation of the design to the Mayor is scheduled for October 14, 2026, before proceeding to the next stages of the project.
