The Nakhon Ratchasima 2 Highway Office of the Department of Highways (DOH) announced that the M6 motorway is open for traffic along the entire Bang Pa-in–Nakhon Ratchasima route, a 196-kilometer corridor. It also said the entrance to Mitthaphab Road at kilometer 65, in front of the dog shelter rest area, which had been used as a temporary entrance since Friday, August 21 at 12:00 PM, will be permanently closed as the entrance and exit checkpoint is now complete.




To use the M6 from Pak Chong to Nakhon Ratchasima, motorists should enter and exit at the Pak Chong Checkpoint on Highway 2090 (Thana Rat Road). Outbound toward Nakhon Ratchasima: Enter at Pak Chong Checkpoint and use the section from Pak Chong District to Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Inbound toward Bangkok: From Nakhon Ratchasima Province, exit at the Pak Chong Checkpoint, take Thana Rat Road, then continue on Mitthaphab Road.
The section from Pak Chong Checkpoint to Mueak Lek Checkpoint is not yet open for service. To continue using the M6 from Mueak Lek District to Saraburi–Bang Pa-in, enter the M6 at the Mueak Lek Checkpoint on Highway 2 (Mitthaphab Road), approximately kilometer 30+500.
