Grapes Take Center Stage at The Museum, Centara Grand Beach Resort Hua Hin

On Sunday, July 21, The Museum at Centara Grand Beach Resort Hua Hin transformed into a grape-themed wonderland, delighting guests with an innovative twist on the traditional afternoon tea. The event, a collaboration with Monsoon Valley, showcased the versatility of grapes in a variety of culinary creations.

The talented chefs at The Museum, in partnership with Monsoon Valley, crafted an array of grape-infused delicacies. Highlights included roasted grape and Brie cheese crostini, grape chutney and prosciutto ciabatta, smoked chicken grape salad rolls, and smoked duck with ricotta and grape jam. These dishes demonstrated how the humble grape can enhance any menu, adding a crisp, sharp, and sweet flavor profile.

Centara Hotel Management assured this publication that this event is just the beginning of many exciting events to come. They added that food and music enthusiasts will be delighted with what Centara Grand Hua Hin has planned for the coming weeks. This is all part of their commitment to providing high-quality events for the community, they emphasized.

The offerings extended beyond these savory bites. Prawn spring rolls with plum grape sauce, pork Wellington with grape sauce, and a cheese and grape quiche further showcased the fruit’s versatility. Even the beverages and desserts incorporated grapes, with grape smoothies and treats such as grape profiteroles, grape almond tarts, and black and white grape macarons.

Monsoon Valley also set up a display featuring a variety of grape products, including grape juice, grape jam, grape leaves, tea, raisins, keychains, and glass saucers. This display allowed guests to explore the full spectrum of grape-based products.

Guido Campigotto, General Manager of Monsoon Valley, told this publication that more events similar to the one held at Centara are planned, with Monsoon Valley looking to provide Hua Hin with an eclectic array grape and wine themed events in the future.

Throughout the afternoon, guests were serenaded by the talented Khun Fork on violin, adding a musical backdrop to the culinary experience.

It was reported that the event was enjoyed by attendees, with numerous guests appreciating the creative use of grapes in both sweet and savory dishes.

Centara Grand Hua Hin has told us many more events are planned for August, so stay tuned!
