Hua Hin Municipality’s Public Health and Environment Division has deployed sanitation workers and equipment to clear marine debris that has washed ashore during the windy season. The operation, led by Mr. Thanadet Phoonnoi, head of the sanitation unit, commenced on October 9, 2026.

The cleanup effort targets beaches affected by the seasonal monsoon winds, which often carry marine waste and various debris onto the shore. The work is divided into two teams: Team 1 starts from the area in front of Centara Grand Hotel, and Team 2 begins at Khao Takiab Cape. Both teams are working inwards to converge, aiming to cover the entire affected area swiftly.
The objective is to restore the beach’s clean, beautiful, and safe appearance for residents and tourists as quickly as possible.
Businesses and hotels encountering significant amounts of debris or requiring specific cleanup assistance are encouraged to contact the sanitation unit at the Hua Hin Municipality, Public Health and Environment Division, by calling 032-511047 ext. 405 for coordination and action.
