Lawyer Pat has announced his intention to represent a husband in a lawsuit against his wife’s alleged lover. The legal professional, also known as “Lawyer of the Queen,” revealed his involvement after initial reports of the case sparked public debate. Following accusations of sensationalism, the husband provided marriage registration documents and chat logs between his wife and the other man, then formally requested Lawyer Pat’s representation.
Lawyer Anusorn Asurapong, or “Lawyer Pat,” confirmed he would be taking on the case for the “King Husband,” who is reportedly suing the director rumored to be involved with his wife.
On August 20, 2026, Lawyer Pat shared a post alluding to his new role and followed up with a detailed explanation of legal recourse for claiming compensation from a lover, referencing Section 1523 of the Civil and Commercial Code.
He outlined two primary legal avenues for compensation: a claim made in conjunction with a divorce petition if adultery is proven, or a claim against the lover even if divorce is not pursued, citing Supreme Court Judgment No. 2791/2515.
Lawyer Pat elaborated on the factors influencing compensation, including humiliation, loss of reputation, and the specific circumstances of the case. A crucial element for a successful claim is the lover’s awareness that the individual is married. The definition of adultery extends beyond sexual intercourse to include actions like hugging and touching.
He also noted a legal limitation: while compensation can be awarded, courts cannot compel the lover to cease the relationship, as per Supreme Court Judgment No. 4014/2530. The right to claim compensation remains valid as long as the marriage is officially registered. The statute of limitations for such claims is one year from the date of discovery, unless the offending behavior is ongoing. Lawyer Pat’s involvement is set to address the husband’s rights and seek to restore his dignity through the legal system.
