The Mayor of Hua Hin Municipality appointed Mr. Atichat Chaisri, Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin Municipality, to lead a meeting and present the April 2026 operations of the Strategic and Budget Department. Attendees included Mr. Jirawat Prahamani, Municipal Secretary, Ms. Kanokwan Srirun, Director of the Strategic and Budget Department, and staff from the Strategic and Budget Department at the Pool Sukh Room, Hua Hin Municipality Office.
The meeting covered several administrative topics, such as performance evaluation of tasks, efficiency assessment of local government organizations (LPA), and ethics and transparency assessment of public sector agencies (ITA). Additionally, the municipality discussed participation in royal ceremonies scheduled for May 30, 2026, to commemorate the passing of King Prajadhipok (Rama VII).
The municipality also engaged in various community activities, including inviting the public to the “Beat On Track” exercise event on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the old Hua Hin Railway Station, and participating in the fireworks festival on May 29-30, 2026, at Hua Don Beach.
The meeting reviewed past month’s activities, such as organizing a community meeting to discuss local development plans and gather data for the 3rd Local Development Plan (2027-2031). Letters were issued to all departments to collect data for drafting municipal regulations. The 2026 performance of local administrative organizations (LAOs) was reported, with high-potential LAOs (HPA) scoring 90.59%. The municipality also promoted a 5S organizational culture (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to foster a systematic, disciplined, safe, and efficient work environment. Awards were given to departments that exemplified the 5S principles.
