Mr. Napaphon Wutthikul, Mayor of Hua Hin Municipality, presided over the opening ceremony of the waste separation training project for teachers and students of municipal schools. The event was held at Wat Nong Kae Municipal School, with the presence of Ms. Busaba Choksuchai, Deputy Mayor, Municipal Council President, Municipal Council Members, Municipal Secretary, Director of the Public Health and Environment Department, and representatives from Wat Nong Kae Municipal School, Khao Phithak Municipal School, Saphan Khee Lek Community, teachers, and students from both schools, as well as officials from the Public Health and Environment Department of Hua Hin Municipality.
The training was supported by Mr. Richard Singer, CEO of Go Beyond Dreams, Ms. Pimbum Thanawiset, Ms. Khemika Hongwiangchan, and Ms. Jirawat Masmanana, Community Cooperation Manager of Go Beyond Dreams, along with their team and relevant agencies. Experts from Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited, Bangkok, led by Ms. Suwanphorn Laowachirasuwan, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, and trainers from Go Beyond Dreams, Hua Hin District, also participated.
Go Beyond Dreams organized this waste separation training for teachers and students of municipal schools to equip participants with practical skills in waste sorting, basic knowledge about waste types, and their environmental impacts. The training aimed to cultivate new leaders committed to sustainable environmental management and foster collaboration among all sectors to make Hua Hin a beautiful tourist city and a model for integrated waste management and environmental protection.
