On May 27, a significant marine debris collection activity was organized at Ko Talu in Bang Saphan Noi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The initiative aimed to restore the marine environment and maintain the cleanliness of natural tourist attractions, preserving the richness of the marine ecosystem. Officers and participants collected marine debris, plastic waste, wood debris, and other garbage that had washed ashore and into the caves of Ko Talu.

The event was led by Ms. Varaporn Chaisamut, the head of the Gulf of Thailand National Park (preparation), and involved a team of 25 officers, along with tour operators and local government agencies. The collaborative efforts of the community, government agencies, and tourism operators were highlighted, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the beauty and sustainability of the Thai seas. The activity also served to raise awareness about the conservation of natural resources and the marine environment among all stakeholders.
